29th Colloquium of African Geology 17th May 2023, Windhoek (Namibia) The Colloquium of African Geology (CAG) is a biennial meeting, held under the auspices of the Geological Society of Africa, where earth scientists from around the globe have the opportunity to present their research on topics of African geology to an international forum of their peers. The 29th Colloquium (CAG29) as well as the 19th Conference of the Geological Society of Africa will be hosted in Windhoek (Namibia) by the Geological Survey of Namibia (GSN) during the final week of September 2023 – from 26th until 29th. The theme of the event is “The earth sciences and Africa’s development: current realities, future projections”. The 2nd Circular for CAG29 is available now as DOWNLOAD. On behalf of the organizers of CAG29, we kindly invite you to submit your abstracts until 30th May 2023 HERE. The session ST13_S03 about mineral system approach and mineral predictive mapping will be chaired by Andreas Knobloch from Beak together with Vesa Nykänen from GTK (Finland) and John Carranza from University of Free State (South Africa) in the frame of the research project "EIS - Exploration Information System", co-funded by European Commission through its Horizon Europe programme.
