Machine learning for mineral exploration targeting in 2D and 3D
9th – 12th February 2026, Cape Town (Republic of South Africa)

Beak Consultants GmbH is heading to Mining Indaba 2026! Join us to discuss on how mining projects are being shaped today — from early-stage exploration to responsible development and rehabilitation.
We’re particularly excited to share with you our professional solutions, including our newest technological developments:
- New AI-driven approaches to mineral predictive mapping and applied LLMs i.e. mineral insights extraction from reports and maps,
- On-the-ground exploration work support with geochemical campaigns, targeted exploration, etc.,
- Mining governance and policy support, working alongside public institutions and shaping the future of the mining industry,
- Environmental and social considerations that underpin sustainable projects.
Since more than 20 years, Beak Consultants GmbH has been developing and providing expertise for using machine learning in mineral exploration targeting. Nowadays, we apply hybrid approaches that combine domain knowledge and geological understanding with data-driven AI methods — particularly applying mineral system for mineral predictive mapping.
These approaches have been key in complex geological settings, including in our projects in Africa and Europe (e.g. Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, France, Germany), where combining expert interpretation with machine learning helped to identify new anomalies for targeted mineral exploration.

Our in-house software “advangeo® Prediction” provides a structured framework for applying multiple algorithmic approaches (including artificial / Bayesian neural networks, random forests and self-organizing maps) to spatial phenomenon prediction, with support for both 2D and 3D input data.

Mining Indaba 2026 is about dialogue, partnerships, and shared perspectives. If you’ll be there and would like to connect, exchange ideas, or explore potential collaboration — we’d be glad to meet.
See you in Cape Town.
Meet our experts Markus Zingelmann and Luis Alberto Pizano Wagner in the CTICC1 building at booth 1J12!
