Beak exhibits at PDAC 2023 and hosts “GoldenEye@PDAC” event on 7th March 2023 about “GOLDEN AI - Artificial intelligence platform for mine site monitoring”

5th – 8th March 2023, Toronto (Canada)

The PDAC 2023 Convention will take place in Toronto (Canada) from 5th until 8th March 2023 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC). Meet us at our booth number 915 at the Trade Show.

At the PDAC 2023 Convention, Beak Consultants is excited to present its latest developments for mineral predictive mapping in 2D and 3D using advangeo® Prediction Software. In the frame of GoldenEye project, co-funded by European Commission through Horizon 2020, led by VTT from Finland, artificial intelligence toolkits have been developed and successfully applied for mineral exploration in Bockau (Germany) using portable XRF measurements and active hyperspectral sensor images in 2D for estimation of Sn content in hand specimen. Furthermore, the mineral prospectivity for Sn has been successfully modelled in 3D using available geological and structural data, fusing it with new electromagnetic (EM) and LiDAR-data from drone survey.

On 7th March 2023, Beak will host the “GoldenEye@PDAC” event from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM EST at PDAC 2023 in Reception Room 203D. The workshops will showcase the “Golden AI - Artificial intelligence platform for mineral exploration, mining operation monitoring, and support of site closure/post closure”, developed by OPT/NET from Netherlands, and the exploration results by Beak in the Bockau area. Participation at the event is free. Registration is not required, but preferred. More details, including agenda and registration link, can be found here and in the event flyer.

On the same day, Beak will participate the “EU@PDAC” event from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM EST at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre Hotel in Ballroom B. The “EU Research and Innovation for Mineral Exploration and Extraction” workshop is organised by EU and will cover current trends and research results – among others, from GoldenEye. The agenda of the workshop can be found here.
