In the frame of a workshop Beak Consultants held a paper on the approach for planning and implementation of individual, tailor-made information systems for geological surveys, mining authorities and similar organisations. Advantages and benefits as well as problems of the introduction of sophisticated information systems into the daily working process were discussed intensively.
