23rd Beak Symposium
Schedule and registration documents

5th May 2017, Freiberg (Germany)

We invite you to our annual Symposium on 5th May 2017 in Freiberg / Germany.

Our annual symposium is focused both on the scientific exchange and the appreciation of our two most experienced colleagues - Mrs Ursula Stannebein and Dr Claus Legler. Both have preferred to continue working with us rather than to go for the deserved retirement. This shall be addressed in our colloquium./span>

Technically, our event focuses on the interconnection of geo-scientific themes with modern data processing:

  • Information system for soil monitoring in Saxony (Germany),
  • Geo-hazard prediction and engineering-geological mapping of Windhoek (Namibia),

  • Mineralogical-analytical fingerprint as proof of origin of mineral aggregates,
  • New ArcGIS from Esri,
  • Mineral potential evaluation of the central Ore Mountains / Erzgebirge for tin, tungsten, fluorite and barite,
  • Digital data capture in the field with the advangeo® Field Cap.
