The University of Applied Sciences Georg Agricola (Technische Fachhochschule Georg Agricola) in Bochum, the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering as well as the Institute of Mine Surveying and Geodesy at the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (TU Bergakademie Freiberg), the working group "Abandoned Mines" ("Altbergbau") of the German Society for Geotechnics (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geotechnik, DGGT) in cooperation with the German Association for Mine-Surveying (Deutscher Markscheider-Verein, DMV) and the Department of Geotechnical Engineering and Mine Surveying at the TU Clausthal invite you to the "14. Altbergbau-Kolloquium" in Gelsenkirchen/Germany from 6th to 8th November 2014.

On Thursday, 6th November 2014, at 12:00 a.m., Beak Consultants GmbH, together with the Lausitzer und Mitteldeutsche Bergbau-Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH (LMBV mbH) and the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (TU BAF), will hold a plenary talk about "Neue Verfahren zur Bewertung und Risikobeurteilung der Stabilität von Tagebaukippen – Modellierungen mit künstlichen neuronalen Netze" and present the results of a research project.
